What is SSC-CGL?

Combined Graduate Level Examination for recruitment to different posts for which Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum Educational Qualification.

Which posts are filled by SSC-CGL exam?

Grade B jobs: Assistants (in ministry of Railway, External affairs, Intelligence bureau, Central Vigilance Commission, Central Secretariat Service, Dept. of revenue ,Enforcement directorate) inspector (income tax, Excise dept. & central bureau of narcotics) Sub inspector at CBI, Divisional accountant at offices under CAG Statistical Investigator.

Grade C jobs: posts comprise of Auditor, Accountant, Upper Division Clerk, Tax Assistant, Compiler etc.

Kindly tell me about the basic eligibility requirements?

Education Qualification- Graduation. (From2016, final year appearing students can also apply)

Age: 18-27 years (For statistical Investigator grade –II  max age limit is 32 years , for Assistant Enforcement officer max age limit is 30 years and for sub –inspector (CBI) age limit is 20-30 years.)

Pattern of exam- objective and subjective.

Is there any sectional cut off in SSC exams?

Answer. Till 2016, there was no such Sectional Cut Off. But it is at the discretion of the Commission and this has been categorically mentioned in the notification.

How much time I have to spent for SSC Prepration?

You have to attend 1-2 hour classes for 6 month for interview and shortcut. You have to study regularly 5-6 hours at home.

Is there any relaxation in age limit?

Yes         SC/ST – 5 YEARS                           OBC – 3 YEARS                         PH – 10 YEARS

Why should I go for govt. Jobs? I have good job in private sector with attractive salary and incentives?

When you are in a Govt. job you have a secured future. You don’t need to worry for pay cut or lay off. After 7th pay commission salary structure is very good and far better as compared to most of private jobs.

How much time candidate need to prepare for the exam?

SP- Ideally 5 to 6 months of continuous study is required to clear the exam. Against the popular myth that 2-3 month course is enough, let us give you the facts that why you should take course of long duration if you are a sincere candidate.

Reason-1: Syllabus of SSC takes time to cover. All topics need more or less equal attention and for it time need to be invested.

Reason -2: Mock test practice with proper analysis should be done under the guidance of expert faculties. Attempting Mock test and Speed test will not yield proper and required results if their analysis is not done with faculties.

Reason-3: Most of the candidates are not in touch with 10th level mathematics from number of years. To build base, learning and applying shortcut tricks take time.

Reason-4: If you want to achieve your dream job (post), you need more marks then normal cutoffs of general posts.

 

BANK PO/SO/CLERK

What is the eligibility for taking Bank PO exams?

For most of the banks, the minimum requirement is that the candidate should fall in the age group of 21 to 30 years and should be a graduate. The percentage and other qualifications required vary from bank to bank and is mentioned in the bank notification.

How many times can I appear for the bank exams?

There is no restriction as to how many times you can appear for the bank exam. As far as you fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the bank specification, you can apply.

Do I need to clear the cut-off in every section?

Yes, you need to qualify sectional cut off of every section.

What is the duration of the course for Bank PO / Clerk?

The course is designed in such a manner that it gets completed in 3 months.

How much time do I need to give daily in the Institute?

The classes are held daily for the duration of 3 hours from Monday to Sunday.

What are the facilities that you provide apart from the regular classes?

We provide you with the complete study material comprising of books on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, G.K & Computer and Previous Year Question Paper. Mock PO / Clerk papers and Memory-based papers are also being conducted at our Institute on regular basis as part of our curriculum. Apart from that we have the Problem Solving Section (PSS) where you will get solution to all the problems that you come across while solving questions. We also provide the Library facility from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You are allowed to issue books, magazines and newspapers.

When will your new Batch start?

Every new batch starts on Tuesday. If you want to get enrolled in the batch, kindly contact any of the branches of The Bankers Institute at least 10 days in advance.
